With this document, the Francesca Pompe Enologiche S.r.l. company as producer declares that the Francesca® volumetric pump with rotating pistons for oenological use, meets the requirements of food safety and hygiene and is therefore suitable for the transfer of wine, must and pressed grapes, hereinafter generically called “food product” or more briefly “product”.
The oenological pumps produced by us meet the requirements of the European community directive 98/37 / EC (machine directive) and the European community directive 93/68 (EMC and low voltage directive) the EC regulation 1935/2004 and the EHEDG guidelines (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group), doc.8, second edition (April 2004) regarding the criteria for the construction of adequately hygienic machines, apparatuses and components.
In particular, in the EHEDG guidelines are found the following standards: EN 1672-2: 2005 Food processing machinery – Basic concepts – part 2: hygiene requirements – EN ISO 14159: 2008 (E) Safety of machinery – Hygiene requirements for the design of machinery
For the materials in contact with the food product, the manufacturer ensures the availability of supplier compliance documents and such management of the production process that allows traceability.
The oenological pumps are made in compliance with the following criteria contained in the regulations:
